The dashboard lived on a laptop
Every call, booking and message was there, but only if you sat down and logged in. The owners we spoke to are almost never sitting down during business hours.

Hello Brittany was catching every call and booking every appointment, and the owner had no easy way to see any of it until they got back to a computer. The app puts the day on one screen, opens in 3 seconds, sends live call and booking alerts, and needs no login to remember.
01 / THE PROBLEM
Hello Brittany answers the phone around the clock. That is the whole point. But the owner who pays for it is rarely at a desk. They are on a job, in a chair, behind a counter, or asleep. The AI was catching every call and booking every appointment, and the person who owned the business had no easy way to see any of it until they got back to a computer.
So a great thing was happening in the dark. A new patient booked at 9pm. A big job got quoted at 6am. A caller asked for something the AI could not handle and needed a human to ring back. All of it sat in a dashboard the owner had to log into on a laptop, and most of them never did until the next morning, if at all.
The trust gap was the real cost. When you cannot see what the AI did, you start to wonder if it is doing anything. Owners were paying for a receptionist they could not watch, and a receptionist you cannot watch is one you slowly stop believing in.
REVIEW
We sat with a handful of Brittany customers and watched how they actually tried to keep up with their own front desk. Six things came out of it.
Every call, booking and message was there, but only if you sat down and logged in. The owners we spoke to are almost never sitting down during business hours.
A confirmed appointment or a hot lead had no way of reaching the owner in the moment. By the time they saw it, the chance to follow up fast had gone.
When the AI took a message for a person to handle, that message waited in a queue. Some sat for hours. A few for a day. Those were often the biggest calls.
An owner between jobs wants one thing in ten seconds: how many calls, how many booked, anything on fire. The desktop view made them dig for it.
A password on a laptop is a small thing that becomes a big thing when you are busy. Every extra step between the owner and their numbers meant they checked less often.
Brittany was booking real money every night, and the owner felt none of it. A product that proves its worth only when you go looking will always feel more expensive than it is.
IMPACT
AI sped up the build. It scaffolded screens, wrote the repetitive glue code between the app and Brittany's existing system, and generated a first pass of the transcript summaries so an owner could read the gist of a call without reading the whole thing. Work that would have taken a small team weeks got done in days.
People made the decisions that made the app good. What belongs on the home screen and what does not. Which alerts are worth a buzz and which would train the owner to ignore their phone. That a plumber on a roof needs the callback button bigger than anything else. AI can build the screen fast. It cannot tell you that an owner checks an app ten times more often when there is no password. Someone who watched real owners work figured that out.
05 RESULT
MEANS
If your service works in the background, the app is how the customer feels it working. Visibility is not a nice extra. It is what keeps them paying
The people who buy a service like this run on their feet. An answer that lives on a laptop is an answer most of them will never get to
Friction as small as a password decides how often a busy person opens your app. Take it away and usage climbs on its own
Owners do not want a dashboard between jobs. They want the day's state in a second. Design for the glance and the detail can wait behind a tap.
The app works fine on office wifi and falls apart on a job site if you let it. Real conditions are where the app earns its keep.
WORKS
Any service that runs for a customer in the background has this same gap. Security monitoring, automated bookkeeping, a delivery service, a booking system. The work happens whether the customer watches or not, and because they cannot watch it, they slowly forget they are getting value. Then they cancel.
The fix is a simple app that shows the value as it happens, reaches the customer in the moment, and opens without a fight. Not a second dashboard. A window into the one they already have.
NEXT STEP
Give us your product and how your customers use it today. You get back the handful of things they most need to see on a phone, a plan for the first version, and the one number the app should make impossible to miss.
